Where we campaign

We’re taking action to uphold disability rights in countries around the world, from Bangladesh to Zambia.

The Equal World campaign covers multiple countries in Africa and Asia.

Our work has supported efforts to put disability policies into action in Guinea, Bangladesh, Cameroon, India, Malawi, Mali, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sierra Leone and Uganda. We’ve travelled to remote areas to collect petition signatures with our award-winning app.

We’ve called for ratification of the African Disability Protocol, and campaigned for ratification of the Marrakesh Treaty to make books available in accessible formats.

But our global campaigning doesn’t stop there. In 2023 we launched a new national disability rights campaign in Bangladesh with the support of our country office team and local disability organisations, and in 2024 we did the same in Zimbabwe.
